This signature event is a recognition and appreciation of our Hanover County Sheriff's Office. The exceptional men and women of the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office do so much to protect and serve our area businesses and citizens, A Salute to Our Heroes is one way Hanover’s business community can express our gratitude. This special event begins at the HCSO Annual Award Ceremony and continues with an Appreciation Dinner Reception.

Partnering sponsors help off-set the expenses of allowing deputies, and their families, to enjoy the reception at no cost and enable the sizable donation to the Sheriff’s Foundation. For the past nine years, this special event has raised funds for the Hanover Sheriff’s Office Foundation, providing financial support to deputies harmed in the line of duty or deputy families in crisis.
